Испытывался на ЭК ВНИИЖТ в 1949 г.
Работал на тяговом участке Красный Лиман — Основа.
1954 г. — на Днепропетровском ПРЗ установлен увеличитель сцепной массы, изменено внешнее оформление, поднято давление котла с 16 до 17 кгс/см2.
1959 г. — передан в Воронежский Совнархоз как котельная.
