BR 442 291 der S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland steht als S47 Richtung Trotha im Hallenser Hauptbahnhof auf dem Außengleis 1. Dieser Zug besitzt nicht wie üblich die S-Bahn-Lackierung sondern das klassische Verkehrsrot, da er früher in Südhessen im Einsatz war. Er ist der aktuelle Stammzug der S47.
